Volunteers
Volunteers are an integral part of hospice care. Volunteers can work directly with patients and families, or can give their time administratively in the business office. Volunteers choose what best fits their needs and personalities to have a successful and enjoyable experience. New England Hospice has had the pleasure of offering many different volunteer opportunities such as:

– Administrative Volunteers
– Education Volunteers

Volunteers are asked to give a minimum of 4-6 hours per month, with a commitment of at least 6 months. Volunteers are carefully screened. They receive extensive training, orientation, and support. Visitation is set up at mutually convenient times for the family, patient, and volunteer. Volunteers are needed any day of the week during the morning, afternoon, and evenings.
