Road-Runner

The LRTA Road-Runner is a 2-day advance-notice transportation service. (First come, first served. Reservations can be made up to a week ahead. Call 8am-3pm weekdays.) It can be used for work, medical, shopping, social, and recreation. It’s for individuals 60+ or anyone disabled, and offers curb-to-curb service with wheelchair accessibility. SERVICES: special medical trips, special ADA paratransit service, special work trips, L.I.F.E. (Living Is For the Elderly Program).

Acton, Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Groton, Lowell, Pepperell, Tewksbury, Townsend, and Westford.

Eligibility

Elderly (60+) and Handicapped (any age) may apply for a Statewide Transportation Access Pass. There is a 2-week waiting period.
