Kites Over New England, founded in 1988, is dedicated to sharing the joy and enthusiasm our members have for all areas of kiting. KONE is a kite club for kite flyers of all ages. The club has family-friendly events scheduled throughout the year and all over New England.
The club and its website provide a communications link between kite enthusiasts in our area and around the world. Our club is an affiliate of the American Kitefliers Association and is active in all areas of competitive and recreational kiting. KONE is a non profit club. Each spring we sponsor the annual New England Regional at Nahant Beach in Lynn, MA. The first Saturday of each month we hold our monthly club flys at various locations throughout New England, and indoor flys during the winter months. Some members make and fly kites of their own designs, others fly commercial kites. Whatever you fly KONE welcomes you to join us at our monthly flys throughout New England.
