To enhance the effectiveness of the Chelmsford Public Library System by providing support of both a financial and volunteer nature, and to promote, sponsor, and carry out educational and public service purposes and objectives so as to encourage citizen interest and participation in the public library. This support makes possible educational and public service programs for adults and children, as well as museum passes, computer workstations, equipment, and furniture for the Library.

Hours
Board usually meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month, 7:00 p.m., in the Library’s McCarthy Meeting Room. A virtual meeting option is available. Please email ChelmsfordFriends@gmail.com to request a link to join remotely. The annual meeting and elections are in the Fall.
