Strongwater Farm strives to enrich lives through the healing power of horses. The mission is to enhance and enrich lives by providing education, social opportunities and emotional support for its communities through equine assisted activities and therapies.
Our programs offer something for every age level. Whether you’re a resident of Chelmsford or one of the surrounding towns, there is a wide variety of courses and recreational activities to serve educational and enrichment needs, or for just plain fun! Our Childcare and Preschool services are enjoyed by children as young as 18 months through school age. Please browse through our website to find a new hobby, sign up for a trip with your friends, or learn a new skill. We have it all!
Kites Over New England, founded in 1988, is dedicated to sharing the joy and enthusiasm our members have for all areas of kiting. KONE is a kite club for kite flyers of all ages. The club has family-friendly events scheduled throughout the year and all over New England.
An all-volunteer non-profit group that advocates for construction of a multi-use path on the rail bed of the old Framingham-Lowell line.
A year-round, multi-service agency dedicated to helping persons with significant disabilities to develop their maximum potential and independence. The Summer Program is a Chapter 766-approved school for ages 4-21; a recreational camp setting is used to create a strong educational curriculum based on the child’s individualized educational plan. Programs include summer day camp, overnight camp for ages 12-21, Friday night socials, Saturday Respite Care and school vacation programs.
The purpose of CYSA is to aid in the development of young people by giving them the opportunity to play soccer. Fall and spring programs for Chelmsford youth ages 5- 19 are available. The goal of CYSA is to provide training in the development of individual skills, fitness, teamwork, and fair play. Clinics, training sessions and other soccer activities are offered.
To provide the opportunity for boys and girls to play basketball in a structured, friendly league of competition, to improve their skills, to teach them the value of fair play and to develop good sportsmanship. League runs from October through March. Activities include practice, games and clinics.
Recreation, instructional and social swimming, and tennis. Competitive swim and tennis for adults and children, and family programs.
To implant in the minds of youth the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence so that they may become valuable contributing members of our community. The program also emphasizes scholastic achievement with each individual player and cheerleader. Activities are tackle football and cheerleading. Participants compete in regularly scheduled games as well as regional and statewide competitions.
To teach children sportsmanship, team play, and the art of playing baseball. Non-profit, and affiliated with National Little League.
