AARP Foundation Tax Aide offers free tax preparation help to anyone with special focus on the preparation of taxes for people 50 or older. Volunteers are IRS certified. AARP Foundation Tax Aide has more than 5000 locations in neighborhood libraries, malls, banks, community centers, and senior centers. Taking advantage of these services requires no fee, no membership, and there’s no sales pitch for other services.

The Chelmsford Library serves the intellectual, entertainment, and social needs of the Chelmsford Community. We have a variety of resources, programs, and services, available both at our main branch in Chelmsford center and our MacKay branch in North Chelmsford.

To enhance the effectiveness of the Chelmsford Public Library System by providing support of both a financial and volunteer nature, and to promote, sponsor, and carry out educational and public service purposes and objectives so as to encourage citizen interest and participation in the public library. This support makes possible educational and public service programs for adults and children, as well as museum passes, computer workstations, equipment, and furniture for the Library.
